ACTL would like to wish everyone a very happy and safe holiday! We would like to thank all of our donors for helping keep our mission alive in 2015. With your donations we have been able to help Lilian stay in school and graduate from college, Barbara finished medical school, and Anne is able to continue in business school. We have also been able to provide books to a youth center in South Carolina and are still working to start a small library for a rural school in the Dominican Republic.

It’s not to late for that end of the year donation to!

The Black Friday Deals have been going on for over a week and continue! You may have supported Small Business Saturday or did some shopping on Cyber Monday. 220 Books Donated to DJJ in Columbia, SC

On Tuesday, September 8, 2015, ACTL was proud to donate 220 Middle Level and Secondary books to the Department of Junvenile Justice (DJJ) in Columbia, SC. Nancy Montgomery, princial at DJJ, is elated with the donation and stated, “This is such a wonderful donation for our schools and statewide programs that work with middle level and secondary students that we service. We are thrilled with all of these books!”

These texts will be used in the main school at the detention center in Columbia, Evaluation Centers all over the state, as well as individualized programs offered to the students that they serve. The board of directors of ACTL are delighted with the opportunity to offer a donation to these students as it follows the mission set forth by the founder, Dr. Jennifer Wilson.
